Beer Chicken

Chicken cooked in beer-flavoured sauce over the roasted potatoes is something a little bit special. A recipe that must be tried.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • salt
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • pinch of thyme
  • 1 tbsp Vegeta Chicken stock powder
  • 800 g chicken drumsticks and thighs
  • 200 ml ale beer

Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  2. 2.
    Season potatoes with salt and drizzle with 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Arrange in a baking tray and roast for about 30 minutes.
  3. 3.
    In the meantime, sprinkle a pinch of thyme and Vegeta chicken stock over the chicken.
  4. 4.
    Heat the remaining oil in a pan, add the chicken and fry on medium heat. Top with beer and continue to cook on low heat for another 5 minutes.
  5. 5.
    Arrange the chicken and the sauce on top of the potatoes, return to oven and continue to roast for 20 minutes.

Serving

Serve roasted chicken and potatoes with sauerkraut dressed with pumpkin seed oil.

Tip

You can add zucchini, carrots or other vegetables to roast with the potatoes.
