Preparation

In a greased oven tray place 1 day old bread rolls, cut in cubes. Leave in the oven, on low heat, until they get golden colour.

To mixed eggs add Vegeta Gourmet Stock Powder, milk, parsley and the bread cubes. Mix thoroughly and let stand for about 20 minutes.

Make a roll out of the mixture.

On a clean gauze (or thin kitchen towel) sprinkle the bread crumbs, put the bread roll on it and wrap the gauze tightly around.

Tie each side of the gauze with some cotton thread, and cook in boiling, salted water for about 30 minutes.

When cooked, strain the water, remove the gauze and cut into thick slices.
Serving
Dumplings can be served with meat in a sauce.
Tip
To reduce the preparation time, this mixture can be rolled in to small balls.
Notice
This recipe can also be frozen
Freezing: Prepare this recipe, right to the end and let cool. Remove the cooked dumplings from the gauze, wrap in plastic foil wrap and freeze.
Thawing: Remove dumplings from freezer and thaw out at room temperature, for around 2 hours. Slice them and steam.
Duration: 60 days in the freezer
