Preheat the oven at 200°C. Sprinkle chicken fillets with Vegeta Gourmet stock powder. In a pan heat up 2 tablespoons of olive oil and fry briefly the fillets from both sides.
Place fillets in an oven proof tray and arrange the apple slices over them. Cover with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and add 3 tablespoons of water around the chicken fillets. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
For sauce: In a pan heat up the olive oil and fry the pineapple briefly, then add Vegeta Chicken stock cube. Add 200 ml of water and simmer for 10 minutes.
Place pineapple in food processor and chop finely. Return it to the pot. Add another 200 ml of water, sugar and cook briefly. Dilute corn flour in little water. Add corn flour mixture and cream to the sauce and mix well.
Pour the sauce over baked chicken fillets with apples.
Chicken with apples and pineapple sauce serves well with steamed or boiled rice.
The sauce can also be prepared using canned pineapple pieces, in which case it is not necessary to add any sugar to the sauce.
