Cold Platter

A platter is so simple to prepare, it’s attractive and has something to please everyone. Even though it is served cold, it is sure to warm up the taste buds.

Ingredients

  • 200 g prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 200 g kulen or other cured sausage
  • 200 g ham
  • 200 g green olives
  • 200 g cottage cheese
  • 100 ml sour cream
  • 200 g parmesan
  • 200 g Roquefort cheese
  • 2 bunch spring onion, cleaned
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • 350 g Ajvar vegetable relish hot
  • 1 kg crusty bread

Preparation

    On a platter arrange the prosciutto, sausage, ham and olives.
  2. 2.
    Combine and mix cottage cheese with sour cream.
  3. 3.
    Cut the hard cheeses in cubes or thin slices and arrange on a separate platter. Arrange spring onions in between or around the cheese.
  4. 4.
    Choose large lettuce leaves and use them to serve cheese and sour cream mix as well as Ajvar vegetable relish. Simply spoon the mix in lettuce leaves and place onto a serving dish or a bowl.

Serving

Serves well with fresh bread.

Tip

Prepare the platters just prior to serving.
